Vanessa Junc is a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Cologne in the Department of Retailing and Customer Management. She studied business administration at the University of Duisburg-Essen, Germany and was awarded the prize of the best graduate of master studies. Vanessa Junc obtained her doctoral degree in marketing at the University of Cologne in 2015. She has been a visiting scholar at the leading international business school of Northwestern University, Kellogg School of Management. Her research focuses on consumer behavior at the point of sale, including psychological processes and her work has been presented at leading international conferences, such as the Association for Consumer Research North American Conference.
During her business administration studies, Vanessa Junc gained business expertise by several internships, for example, in the steel industry, fast moving consumer goods industry, and the energy sector.
