On November 9, 2018, the Henkel Thesis Award for the best master's thesis in the academic year 2017/2018 was presented at the Münster Marketing Symposium. The award ceremony is one of the highlights of the "Münster Marketing Symposium 2018" held in Münster Castle. The prize, which is endowed with 1,000 euros for the winner, was among others awarded to Lars Gemmer from the Cologne Chair of Marketing and Market Research ("Does Zeitgeist Sell? - Analyzing the Role of Cultural Trend Topics for Product Success"). The jury consists of the three marketing professors Thorsten Hennig-Thurau, Manfred Krafft and Thorsten Wiesel.
